It was movie night last night. We decided to go to the late show as we were just finishing uploading the latest webisode of EiKids. There were quite a few movies to pick from but since I always get my pick, my wife chose Dear John. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t pick it.
I love all kinds of movies. Action movies are incredible and have great special effects.They take you on a crazy ride. Avatar is a perfect example of 1 of the best action movies in recent history. Will it knock off my favorite? I think Maximus Decimus Meridius is still on top! I also love comedies. Dramas are great and so are love stories.
Dear John was a pleasant surprise. I thought I would like it but it was far better that I expected. I won’t spoil anything for you but let me say it was filled with Love, Honor and Respect. There were no 1 night stands and not bloody fight scenes. It was a simple, powerful story of love. Love for family and love for 1 another.
I strongly recommend it. Not just to women but to men too. It shows men how to be men.
Not a bad idea in this world…
